Billing & Finances

Vein Treatment Access Care (VTAC) understands that insurance, billing and financial matters can be complex, which is why our team of professionals is here to help. We are committed to providing you with the information and resources needed to understand your bill, how we work with your insurance and the VTAC financial policy.

We are affiliated with most insurance plans including Medicare. However, because insurance coverage varies, it is important that you understand your individual health plan and what it covers, including deductibles, coinsurance and copays. The physicians who perform services at VTAC may or may not participate in your health benefit plan.  You should contact the physician who arranges for you to have services performed at VTAC to determine which health benefits plans (if any) he or she participates in.

We will notify your health plan in advance that you have elected to have your procedure(s) performed here at VTAC. We will work with your insurance company to confirm eligibility and coverage for procedures and services provided as well as obtain prior authorization, if needed.

Our fees cover the use of the facility only and do not include the surgeon fees, anesthesiologist fees, or pathology fees. These other services will be billed separately by these providers. On the day of surgery, you will be responsible for any co-payment and/or deductibles associated with your services under the terms of your health plan. If you anticipate needing any special financial arrangements, please contact the billing department. If you would like to know the specific fee schedule for your procedure it is available by request from the billing department.

As a courtesy, we will bill your primary insurance on your behalf. Please bring a copy of your insurance card and ID on the day of surgery. If you have more than one insurance carrier, please also bring any necessary secondary billing information.

If at any time you have questions about your bill and what is covered by insurance, please contact the VTAC billing department at (732) 846-9500 option 5.

Please contact your insurance if you have additional questions regarding your out of pocket costs.
